INTRUSION ALARM

Intrusion Alarms monitor the entry of your residence or place of business. It is less a preventative measure and more a response mechanism. Studies indicate, however, that a disclosed Intrusion Detection system is a significant deterrent to potential attackers.

The Intrusion Detection systems which Security Logistics designs, installs, and maintains are packed with features and options that just a few years ago were only imagined. Now they are reality.

Nevertheless, the Intrusion Detection control panel is normally a wall-mounted unit where the detection devices and wiring of the alarm are ultimately connected and managed.

These include devices such as sirens, door contacts, motion detectors, etc. Typical panels are located in utility closets or access rooms. In many cases the building or residence configuration dictates that we utilize wireless technology to provide the necessary level of security.

Security Logistics focuses its considerable resources on the design and installation of alarm systems. Our Third Party UL approved Central Monitoring Station receives an electronic signal from a system when an alarm event is triggered, such as in the case of an intrusion, fire, carbon monoxide presence or manual depression of a holdup/duress button.

The dispatcher immediately reviews the transmitted data and determines the type of response the alarm signal warrants.

If dictated by client instruction, the dispatcher can notify the local police, fire, EMS, or other emergency services department and/or an authorized security response service of the alarm status and the event address.

Each of our clients has supplied us with the desired response methodology in order to provide the most comprehensive monitoring and reaction possible.
